Diese konzise und authentische Kurzdarstellung von Frankls sinn- und ressourcenorientiertem psychotherapeutischen Ansatz lag bisher nicht in einer deutschen Fassung vor. Mit dem vorliegenden Buch wird diese Lücke geschlossen.Ein Gegenstück zu dem aus dem Englischen erst "rückübersetzten" Grundriss der Logotherapie bildet der Aufsatz "Zur geistigen Problematik der Psychotherapie", der 1938 in einem deutschsprachigen Fachjournal erschien.
