(92+ Punkte) Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: 91-93/100 Punkte  "A final blend of 90% Merlot with 10% Cabernet Franc, the 2017 Bourgneuf is deep garnet-purple in color with a nose of red and black plums, cassis and black soil with hints of cigar box and wild thyme. Medium-bodied, fine-grained and refreshing in the mouth with beautiful fruit and earth layers, it finishes with a fragrant lift." James Suckling: 92/100 Punkte "A solid Pomerol for the vintage with dark chocolate, dark berries and round and ripe tannins. Medium to full body and a fresh finish."   Wine Spectator: 91-94/100 Punkte  "Juicy and friendly, delivering bright cassis and raspberry coulis flavors laced with savory and mineral notes. The fruit drives nicely through the finish, which is extended by fresh acidity."  Decanter: 92/100 Punkte "From 9ha of gravel and clay soils, this is a meaty, rich and chewy Pomerol that absolutely works. It has great tannic structure with give and pliability, full of rich black fruits, cassis and raspberry notes, and pulled along by slatey minerality. It has real texture, even though yet again you can tell the fruit flirts with the fresher end of ripeness. Still, this has huge potential, should age well, and is extremely well-handled. Wine Advocate: 95-97/100 Punkte  "The 2016 Palmer is a blend of 47% Merlot, 47% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Petit Verdot cropped at 29 hectoliters per hectare between 3 and 18 October. Matured in 65% new oak (my sample coming from a used barrel), the bouquet is perhaps not quite as intense as some of its peers and takes time to click into fifth gear. Eventually it offers tightly wound blackberry, briary and mineral scents; it is very focused, but maybe less extrovert and more classic in style compared to recent vintages. The palate is medium-bodied with a gentle grip on the entry, quite firm in the mouth with slightly tarry black fruit, hints of black truffle developing towards the finish that feels masculine and linear. It has very impressive length, completing what is an intellectual Palmer, one that I suspect will really blossom in bottle." Trinkgenuss: 2024 bis 2055  Weinwisser: 19/20 Punkte  “… (47% Merlot, 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Petit Verdot, 29 hl/ha, 65% Grand Vin) Konzentriertes, samtenes, komplexes, süsses Bouquet, Cassis, schwarze Brombeeren, Amarenakirschen, Tabak, Pralinen, fein Eukalyptus, Dörrfrüchte, Trüffel, Lakritze. Konzentrierter, vielschichtiger, samtener, fein opulenter Gaumen mit cremiger, dichter Struktur, kräftiger, süsser Frucht, vielfältiger, süsser Aromatik, viel gutem Tannin, sehr langer, aromatischer, dichter Abgang mit vielen, süssen Rückaromen. Kann noch zulegen." James Suckling: 99-100/100 Punkte  "I wrote that the 2015 was incredible, and this 2016 is again. It's equally structured and powerful as the 2015, yet there's an underlying intellectual serenity to this wine. You taste it, and you want to know and experience it even more. Full and tannic yet ever so polished and beautiful. Mesmerizing. Made from biodynamically grown grapes."  Decanter: 98/100 Punkte  "The grand vin represents 65% of production in 2016, the highest ever. It has many similarities in style with the 2001 and 1986, being a classically styled wine full of soft slate, fern, liquorice and cassis, but from the modern era where you can achieve so much more precision. This is a wine that makes you smile from the first sip, and keeps on getting better, caressing you gently across the palate. There is never any let up through the mid-palate, and the biodynamics that have been practised here for the past few years are clearly paying off. Elegant, utterly silky and precise, the structure is just effortless with reasonably fresh alcohols that are the result of late ripening. A perfect example of the appellation, it has the florality, density and slow tannic pace that means it takes you right along with it as the flavours build. The blend is 47% Merlot, 47% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Petit Verdot. Intellectual without being overbearing, and built to age. This is impressive stuff."  Antonio Galloni vinous: 95-98/100 Punkte "Sophisticated and polished from the outset, the 2016 Palmer is utterly captivating. Dark shades of fruit, accented by hints of smoke, leather and discreet French oak open up in the glass, but it is the wine'e effortless, gracious personality that stands out most. The 2016 literally hovers on the palate with exquisite grace. I can't wait to see how it ages."  Wine Enthusiast: 98-100/100 Punkte "Potentially an 100-point wine, this is beautifully ripe and rich, with sweet tannins as well as opulent black fruit tones. A higher than usual proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend gives the wine its density, sophistication and great sense of presence."  Bitte beachten Sie die Sonderbedingungen der Subskription in unseren AGB.

Ein wuchtiger, eher maskuliner Pomerol. In der Nase etwas rau und ungestüm. Tiefdunkle Früchte geben den Ton an. Am Gaumen Lakritze, Teer, etwas Rauch. Durch sein kräftiges, rustikales Tanningerüst ist der 2017er Plince wie gemacht für geduldige Bordeaux-Fans! (91 Punkte) Wine Spectator: 87-90/100 Punkte "Accessible, with rounded boysenberry and raspberry fruit laced with light spice and tea details. The open-knit feel will make this tasty right out of the gate."  Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: 89-91/100 Punkte "A final blend of 79% Merlot and 21% Cabernet Franc, the deep garnet-purple colored 2017 Plince offers up intense crème de cassis, blueberry pie and licorice notes with touches of bay leaves, cinnamon stick and violets. The palate is medium-bodied with a chewy frame and lively line supporting the muscular fruit, finishing on an earthy note." Decanter: 89/100 Punkte "A serious tannic structure makes this austere and gripping. It's from 8.3ha of what Moueix describes as dark soil on an iron pan, which translates as clay and sand (Moueix distributes but the estate is owned by the Moreau family). This wine is hard to work your way through at first, but there are gorgeously nuanced, tight cassis notes with liquorice root, floral touches and menthol. The shields are fully up at this stage but give it time, as this is promising and should age well. Drinking Window 2026 – 2038” Wine Enthusiast: 91/100 Punkte "Barrel Sample. This is a ripe yet finely perfumed wine, with gentle tannins and layers of delicious black fruits. There is good balance thanks to ample acidity to counter the full, rich and rounded palate. Ideal for early drinking." James Suckling: 93/100 Punkte "A firm and silky red with blackberry and chocolate character. Medium body, medium tannins and a juicy finish." James Suckling: 95-96/100 Punkte  »Fantastic depth of ripe fruit with currant and dark-berry aromas. Hints of citrus and dry earth. Full body and round, velvety tannins that are melted into the wine. Very intense and fruity.« Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: 93-95/100 Punkte »The 2018 Pavillon Rouge accounts for 30% of the crop this year. It is composed of 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Merlot, 9% Petit Verdot and 3% Cabernet Franc, with 14.5% alcohol. Deep garnet-purple in color, it sings of crushed black and red currants, warm black berries and plum pudding with touches of fungi, cedar chest, truffles and smoked meats plus a fragrant undercurrent of fallen leaves and potpourri. The palate is medium to full-bodied with a solid backbone of fine-grained tannins and loads of freshness supporting the vibrant red and black fruits, finishing long.« Falstaff: 93/100 Punkte »Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, violette Reflexe, zarter Wasserrand. Reife Herzkirschen, Brombeerkonfit, feine Kräuterwürze, ein Hauch von Edelholz, einladendes Bukett. Kraftvoll, dunkle Frucht, zart nach Bitterschokolade, gute Säurestruktur, würzig im Abgang, mineralischer Nachhall, bleibt haften, etwas Kardamom im Finale.«  Wine Enthusiast: 92-94/100 Punkte »Barrel Sample. While there is density to this wine, it still manages to show an elegant edge. Its freshness is impeccable, with bright acidity and the modicum of tannins offering support to fine berry flavors.« Decanter: 92/100 Punkte »Richly coloured, almost inky, this is seductive and full of flavour with raspberry and brambled fruits that have texture and density. For me, this is far more similar to the 2009 than the 2010. It's an enjoyable Pavillon, all parts present and correct and well assembled, even if it's a little less supple and fragrant than in some years. A subtle closing in on the finish gives you a clue to how tannic this really is (82IPT, high for this estate). 3% Cabernet Franc makes up the blend, with 13% press wine. 60% new oak ageing. Drinking Window 2024 - 2038« Bitte beachten Sie die Sonderbedingungen der Subskription in unseren AGB.

Robert M. Parker(Wine Advocate): 98+Punkte The 2010 Palmer is one of the superstars of the vintage, a blend of 54% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Petit Verdot, which is just slightly different than what I indicated two years ago. The alcohol level hit 14.5%, and the wine comes across like a more stacked-and-packed version of their 2000. It is tannic and backward, but has a sensational black/purple color and a gorgeous nose of camphor, barbecue smoke, blackberry and cassis. Full-bodied, with oodles of glycerin but a relatively healthy pH, this wine has a precision and freshness that belie its lofty alcohol and extravagant concentration. This is a sensationally rich, full-throttle Palmer that could well end up being one of the all-time great wines made at this estate. It needs a good 7-10 years of cellaring and should keep for 50 or more years. There’s no question that Thomas Duroux and the staff at Palmer are producing wines of first-growth quality, and have been for nearly a decade. Genussreife: 2020-2070 Weinwisser (René Gabriel): 19/20 Punkte 54 % Merlot, 40 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 6 % Petit Verdot. Genussreife: 2018-2050 Wine Spectator(James Molesworth): 95-98 Punkte This dense red offers a big core of currant, plum and cassis, with lots ofburied violet and anise. Really loaded on the back end, this is very muscular, but still velvety. Features saturated fruit on the finish, but staysrestrained. Should be very long-lived. Tasted non-blind. Decanter (StevenSpurrier): 19,5/20 Punkte Superb richness and already showing a velvety texture, wonderful freshness andflavours that keep on growing, a magnificent Palmer. Genussreife: 2020-2050

Wine Enthusiast: 92/100 Punkte "Barrel Sample. This is a structured wine with ample fruit notes. Swathes of blackberry and delicious, juicy acidity come together with the dry core on the palate. In a style that will age quickly, it is already showing a ripe, generous character."  James Suckling: 94/100 Punkte "Opulent and powerful for d'Armailhac with blackcurrants, blackberries and black olives. Full-bodied, tannic and extremely muscular. Very well done indeed."   Wine Spectator: 90-93/100 Punkte "Juicy and forward, with anise-tinged plum and cherry fruit backed by a light brambly structure. A lingering chalk echo adds length. This delivers nice latent depth."   Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: 90-92/100 Punkte "A blend of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot, the 2017 D'Armailhac is deep garnet-purple in color and very open on the nose with expressive notes of crushed black cherries, black raspberries and cassis with hints of baking spices, lavender and wood smoke. The palate is medium-bodied with a great core of vibrant red and black fruits, ripe, grainy tannins and superb freshness, finishing long and minerally."  Vinous (Neal Martin): 90-92/100 Punkte "The 2017 d'Armailhac has an opulent bouquet despite this comprising one of the highest percentages of Cabernet Sauvignon ever, which Philippe Dhalluin attributes to the maturity of the berries. There is some lovely cassis and blueberry fruit here with a smear of vanilla. The palate is structured with fine tannin, here the Cabernets are much more expressive with a fine bead of acidity, an attractive pencil lead tincture coming through towards the finish. This is a more floral d'Armailhac that will drink well for the next decades. [Readers should note that my sample included 60% new oak although the final blend will be 40%.] Tasted three times with consistent notes." Wine Spectator: 91-94/100 Punkte  "This is crunchy and lively, offering a bright herbaceous note mixed in with red and black currant fruit. There's good iron-driven cut on the finish. A bit backward, but the pieces are there for a textbook, mineral-driven Pauillac."  James Suckling: 93/100 Punkte  "Very pretty and focused with a tight and refined palate of juicy tannins and a savory finish. Elegant."  Decanter: 94/100 Punkte "These guys often over-deliver in challenging years, and have done so yet again. As you would expect in a vintage that has produced such an excellent Lacoste Borie, this GPL is exceptional, a real success that´s juicy and carefully extracted. It has weight and impact, with a Pauillac tannic hold and presence. It´s one of my wines of the vintage, and a must buy. The balanced, sculpted, juicy black fruits fully deliver personality and signature style. Harvested 15-29 September, yielding 45hl/ha. 80% new oak." Weinwisser: 18/20 Punkte "80 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 20 % Merlot. 45 hl/ha. Rubingranat mit lila Schimmer. Feingliedriges Bouquet mit Schattenmorellen und roten Johannisbeeren, dahinter blaubeerige Konturen. Am feingliedrigen Gaumen mit feinspröder Textur und süsslichem Extrakt. Im gebündelten Finale mit herrlichen Preiselbeeren, Himbeergelee und zarter Adstringenz. Was für eine herrliche Pauillac-Delikatesse! 2027 – 2052" Vinous (Neal Martin): 91-93/100 Punkte "The 2017 Grand Puy Lacoste was picked from 15 to 29 September cropped at 45hl/ha, matured in 75% new oak. It has a clean, precise and conservative bouquet that takes time to open. I like the mineral tension here, the focus, and hints of freshly shucked oyster shell emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with fine grain tannin, fresh in the mouth with plenty of cedar and tobacco-infused red and black fruit that drive a long, slightly peppery finish. It is a quintessential Grand Puy Lacoste, sans the frills of the 2016 and yet you can already imagine this being drunk to the very last drop in about ten years time. It is simply a very likeable Grand Puy Lacoste in the making. Tasted twice with consistent notes.“ Bitte beachten Sie die Sonderbedingungen der Subskription in unseren AGB.

Château Haut-Batailley wird in diesem Jahr das erste Mal von dem neuen Besitzern um Jean-Michel Cazes kreiert. Und schon im ersten Jahr ist die Handschrift des Teams zu erkennen – eine Aufwertung und somit einer der Must-Haves des Jahrgangs 2017. Achtung, die Mengen sind sehr begrenzt! Decanter: 92/100 Punkte "The first year under the Cazes family, and we can expect big changes over the next few years with an extensive replanting programme planned. But for now, let's look at 2017, where production has been split 33% second wine and 66% grand vin, with no frost to hamper them. It's rich and deep, with a sense of forward motion and flexible tannins pushing the cassis fruit from start to finish, joined by focussed and lively brambled fruits and gentle cedar smoking. The austerity is clear, and it's a little lighter-framed than the Lynch Bages, and very different in personality, but it has real promise and I like it enormously. Expect a new label with the Tour d'Aspic tower and the JM Cazes family name. 60% new oak. Drinking Window 2025 – 2036” James Suckling: 93/100 Punkte  "This is very structured and serious. Full-bodied, tannic and powerful. Boom. This is one of the best Haut-Batailleys in years. From the new owners, who also own Lynch-Bages."  Wine Spectator: 89-92/100 Punkte  "This has good currant and damson fruit lined with tobacco and iron notes. Offers slightly dusty tannins but remains fresh and focused overall."  Vinous (Neal Martin): 90-92/100 Punkte  "The 2017 Haut Batailley, which is matured in 60% new oak for 18 months, is clearly more sophisticated than the second wine, polished by the oak of course but underneath its intense blackberry and boysenberry fruit, quite floral with touches of violet and iris. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, a fine bead of acidity, well-integrated oak and very smooth polished finish that glides across the mouth. There is fine precision on the finish. Tasted twice with consistent notes.

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: 92-94/100 Punkte "The current blend of the 2017 Pape Clement is 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Merlot. Deep garnet-purple colored, it sings of crushed black cherries, black raspberries and mulberries with hints of lilacs and dusty soil. Medium to full-bodied with a firm, grainy frame and wonderful freshness, it possesses great elegance and effortless intensity with a mineral-tinged finish." James Suckling 95-96/100 Punkte "This is very dense for the vintage on the center palate and then rolls out on the palate. Full-bodied, tight and tannic. Very polished and refined at the end. Precise. A little more cabernet sauvignon in the blend gives this the tension."  Wine Spectator: 91-94/100 Punkte "This has solid ripeness, with plum and cassis notes flowing through, along with an ambitious oak regimen that results in ample toasted vanilla hints. This clamps down a touch on the finish, but there's good purity and freshness, with fresh acidity buried within, leaving me optimistic."  Wine Enthusiast: 90-92/100 Punkte "Barrel Sample. This is a hugely dense, extracted wine, possibly too much so, displaying a hard edge that smothers the ripe fruit. Giving it the benefit of the doubt, it certainly will not be drinkable before 2024."  Decanter: 92/100 Punkte "I have found that Magrez estates have done exceptionally well in 2017, pretty much across the board, but here I feel a reach towards the barrel that is just the slightest bit out of step with the ripeness of the fruit. The tannins are flexible and in control, but it just lacks a touch of the opulence in the black fruits that was so abundant in 2015 and 2016. There is no doubt that it has been very well constructed, and it will age confidently in the medium to long term. Drinking Window 2025 – 2038” Vinous (Neal Martin): 92-94/100 Punkte "The 2017 Pape Clément was not touched by the frost and was picked from 15 September to 3 October, manually de-stemmed berry by berry with some of the ripe stems added back into the blend (like Les Carmes Haut-Brion down the road). Malolactic is done in barrel where it aged for 18 months. It offers intense black cherry, raspberry, fig and sous-bois scents on the nose, tightly coiled at the moment with just a hint of cedar and tobacco. The palate is medium-bodied with ripe tannin, a mixture of red and black fruit, touches of cedar and white pepper, leading to a structured and fresh finish that leaves a spicy aftertaste. Classic in style, this Pape Clément will benefit from several years in bottle.
