Jahrhunderts standen und stehen die Deutschen vor der Herausforderung, ihre Geschichte im Schatten des »Stigmas der Gewalt« (Geyer, 1995) zwischen Schuld und Trauer kritisch aufzuarbeiten. Ohne eine sozialpsychologische Perspektive ist dieser Schatten nicht zu verstehen.
